Dominic Thomson

Dominic Thomson is the Deputy Director and Project Manager for Southeast Asia at the Environmental Justice Foundation (EJF), with nine years of experience in ocean conservation. Over the past seven years, Dominic has focused on combating illegal, unreported, and unregulated (IUU) fishing and addressing human rights abuses within the fishing industry across the Asia-Pacific region. He leads EJF’s advocacy efforts in Thailand and Indonesia and has expertise in satellite vessel tracking, fishing vessel behavioral analysis, and conducting inspections with law enforcement. Dominic applies a victim-centered approach in his inspections and interviews to address labor-related crimes in the fisheries sector.
