Francesca Montevecchi

Francesca Montevecchi is a plastic technical specialist at UNEP with over 12 years of experience in waste management and the circular economy. Her recent work focuses on plastic policies, including Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) in Southeast Asia. Francesca has contributed to key regional strategies and documents, such as the ASEAN Regional Plan for Combating Marine Debris and the NPAP Indonesia Policy Roadmap to Radically Reduce Plastic. Currently, she is actively involved in projects related to plastics, including the COBSEA – SEA Circular, where she focuses on EPR and plastic packaging.
