Norma Schönherr is Manager Partnerships for Sustainability, Commercial Nonwovens, at Lenzing Group, a specialty fibre manufacturer focussing on sustainable production of regenerated cellulosic fibres for fashion, personal care and hygiene.  In her current role, Norma drives and accelerates transformative sustainability partnerships along the value chain and collaborates with organizations from all sectors to support the shift of the nonwovens industry from fossil to renewable and from linear to circular business models.

Previously, Norma led multi-stakeholder sustainability projects in a variety of settings, including an international environmental NGO, a development agency, and renowned research institutions. Her main areas of expertise are corporate social responsibility, international sustainability governance and corporate impacts on global sustainable development.

She holds advanced degrees in Political Sciences from the University of Toulouse, France, and Integrated Natural Resource Management from Humboldt University, Berlin, Germany.
