Rahyang Nusantara is the Deputy Director of Dietplastik Indonesia, with over ten years of experience in environmental campaigns. In his role, he leads national advocacy efforts to reduce single-use plastic waste and establish a reuse ecosystem. Under Rahyang’s leadership, Dietplastik Indonesia became the first organization in the country to successfully advocate for a nationwide trial of a charge for plastic carrier bags and provide technical assistance to local governments in formulating single-use plastic bans. He has spoken at international forums, including COP 23 in Bonn and INC-3 in Nairobi. Rahyang holds a Master’s degree in Corporate Communications from Universitas Paramadina, Jakarta.
