Taskin Rahman is a seasoned professional with 14 years of experience in the international NGO sector, specializing in climate advocacy, child rights, and stakeholder management across Asia. As the Head of Advocacy and Campaigns for Asia, Taskin leads regional advocacy efforts and drives campaign engagements focused on creating sustainable, long-term change.
Taskin has worked extensively in countries including the Philippines, Thailand, Nepal, China, Bangladesh, and Indonesia, where he has developed and implemented strategies that are locally relevant while maintaining global connections. A strong advocate for youth inclusion, he has worked closely with children and young people, ensuring their voices are heard in policy discussions that impact their lives.
In addition to his role in climate and child rights advocacy, Taskin has played an instrumental part in pneumonia vaccine advocacy, supported countries in their Voluntary National Reviews (VNRs), and assisted in the development of national strategies across the region.
