Ujang Solihin Sidik is the Deputy Director for Producer Governance at Indonesia’s Ministry of Environment and Forestry, where he leads the development and implementation of national policies and regulations on sustainable solid waste management, 3Rs (reduce, reuse, recycle), extended producer responsibility (EPR), marine litter prevention, plastic pollution, and the circular economy. With over 20 years of experience in solid waste management at both national and international levels, Ujang specializes in formulating policies, standards, procedures, and technical guidelines for sustainable waste practices. His expertise spans 3Rs, EPR, and addressing plastic pollution, including in marine environments.
