Yan Xia, born in November 2005, is a gold medalist in international mathematics competitions. From a young age, she has had a profound interest and sense of responsibility for the protection of marine biodiversity. During her middle school years, she utilized her knowledge in interdisciplinary subjects such as mathematics and chemistry to complete significant research on “The Effective Application of Nanomaterials for Emergency Response to Marine Oil Spills and Pollution.” In 2019, as a student representative, she led a team of young individuals in the sustainable marine protection initiative “Blue Circle.” Yan Xia continues to explore the effective integration of mathematics, artificial intelligence, and marine biodiversity protection, committing to the advancement of sustainable environmental development and contributing to the harmonious coexistence of humanity and nature.
